Towards a Theory of Everything

I liked the last part of this:
"If spin states in quantum computing turn out to have 4 possible states it would be kind of like how DNA comes in 4 types of bases...I want to them to prove that humans are just computers and that introns are commented-out lines of code".

I'm almost through an Einstein bio I picked up this summer. One big theme is how he sort of squandered the last twenty years of his work life looking for what might be called "a theory of everything." It's funny: his intuition and his belief in the universe's innate order led to his big, early discoveries, but that same belief failed him with quantum physics. I think Einstein would have liked a lot of that quanta commented out.
